Andy Souwer (2-3 MMA, 160-20-1 Kickboxing) decided to end the cooperation with the Japanese organization RIZIN and move to the largest Asian organization ONE Championship.

RIZIN announced that Souwer will face Takanori Gomi at the RIZIN 12 gala to be held on July 29 in Saitama, Japan. However, it looks like the two-time K-1 Max champion decided to leave the Japanese organization to start the ONE Championship. Souwer is also a multiple champion of Shootboxing and one of the best kickboxers who decided to try their hand at the MMA discipline. ONE Championship has recently decided to organize duels in kickboxing and Muay Thai in Super Series, which will allow Souwer to compete in both disciplines in one organization. Souwer defeated, among others such legends as Buakaw Banchamek and Yodsaenklai Fairtex. He won the K-1 Max tournament in 2005 and 2007, probably becoming the number one in the world among kickboxers in that period. As a MMA fighter, Souwer will have the opportunity to compete in the light division ONE Championship in which his potential opponents may be such fighters like Shinya Aoki, Eduard Folayang, Amir Khan, Honorio Banario, or Garry Tonon.

The only question is whether Andy Souwer decides to fight in both disciplines and when ONE Championship announces his first fight.

Joe Schilling intends to return to the competition at MMA due to the fact that there are better money there than in Kickboxing.

Schilling gained recognition in the world of kickboxing in which he fought 32 fights in total, of which he won 23 (13 by KO) and 9 lost (5 by KO). He is the champion of the GLORY middleweight tournament from 2013. Currently, he has a series of four wins in a row at the Bellator Kickboxing Event. However, it turns out that kickboxing does not give him enough earnings and therefore Schilling will return to MMA.

His last fight in MMA, Schilling fought in June 2015 at Bellator 139, losing it by knockout in the second round in the clash with Hisakim Kato. Schilling cannot boast of such a good MMA record as in Kickboxing, because his balance is 2-5. Being a guest of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Schilling explained that money is the reason he wants to get back into competition in the cage.

"I want to continue to grow financially. Money motivates me a lot and I think that I have achieved the appropriate level of this sport (in kickboxing), so to speak. MMA is right next ... It makes sense. I want to fight big fights and earn as much money as I can before I retire. You can not just give up, you have to find a way to sell yourself and I do not think that kickboxing can help me. "

Joe Schilling lost in  MMA with such fighters as Matt Makowski, Tony Ferguson, Damion Douglas, Rafael Carvalho and already mentioned Hisaki Kato while winning in the battles with Maurice Doucette and Melvin Manhoef. Four of the five defeated fights ended ahead of time just like two wins fights. For winning with Melvin Manhoef, Schilling received the prize "Knockout 2014".

The UFC organization updated its rankings after last week's UFC 225 in Chicago; followed by several significant changes.

The biggest changes took place in the ranking of the heavy division, due to  the fight of Curtis Blaydes with Alistaire Overeem. Blaydes defeated Overeem by TKO in the third round and thus jumped by two points, currently occupying a very high # 2 place in the ranking of the heavy division. In front of him are just Francis Ngannou and master Stipe Miocic. In turn, Alistair Overeem fell from the second to the # 4 position in the ranking for Alexander Volkov. Similarly, Sergio Pettis is currently # 2 in the rankings of the flywieght Division, and it is a jump three times after winning the fight with Josep Benavidez, who dropped to # 3. Pettis defeated Benavidez through a non-uniform decision. After Henry Cejudo tries his second time in battle against champion Demetriouse Johnson at UFC 227, perhaps Pettis will be next in line for his belt. The changes also took place in the ranking of the feather-weight division. Ricardo Lamas after losing the battle with Mirsad Bektić by a non-uniform decision, fell by four positions to place # 11, and Bektić was promoted by four points to place # 7. For Ricardo Lamasa it is a huge drop considering that he was the contender for the title.
